About Us
Hey, I’m Clarence, a world-renowned dancer passionate about sharing the art of Hip Hop, Popping, and Animation with dancers around the globe.
I started my journey in Brisbane, and over the years, dance has taken me everywhere—from local studios to the international stage. My style is deeply rooted in Hiphop culture, with a strong focus on Animation Dance technique and Popping foundation. Now, I’m here to bring that knowledge directly to you through this online space.
This platform is built for people who are keen to learn, but might not be in reach or have the time to learn from myself in person. I’m sharing in-depth techniques, concepts, training exercises and short combo's that are often hard to access, especially if you’re not in a major dance city. Whether you’re new to dance or looking to refine your skills, these classes are where it's at!
A little bit about myself:
I have always loved dancing, apparently as a toddler I would always dance to the Wiggles and Backstreet Boys whenever i heard the music. It wasn't untill I was about 13 that I went to my first breakin' class, and from there on I have never stopped.
Things got serious when I joined Fresh Elements Dance Studio and learn from Sheru, Errol, Jaymen and Steve and started competing with their crews. I started teaching Popping at another sutdio, Elements Collective by the time I was 17.
Once I finished highschool I got a job at a car wash to save up and travel to different cities to train and battle. During those times me and my mates made a crew called 'GoldenCoastline' and became a group of leaders for the QLD freestyle scene. Lots of us taught classes in Brisbane and Gold Coast, we held a weekly jam and we also hosted lots of battles and events.
Between 2016–2019, I trained and battled in Los Angeles as a member of 'The Lot', a crew formed by the legendary Slim Boogie. I’ve stood on stages and battle circles across the world—facing dancers like Salah at Freestyle Session 2017 (our battle has over 500k views!), representing Australia internationally, and even performing with the Jabbawockeez in Universal Studios LA (2016 - 2018) and Macau’s MGM Grand Opening (2019).
Since returning home from LA in 2020, I’ve also been working with Creative Dance Industries, a Brisbane-based company that teaches dance to kids across Queensland. CDI brings dance programs to primary schools from Prep to Grade 6—some as part of the school curriculum, others just for fun. They also run after-school dance classes at select schools around Brisbane. Being part of this team has allowed me to pass on the love of dance to the next generation, helping young kids build confidence, rhythm, and creativity through movement. In recent years, I’ve continued to compete and teach, winning five battles in a row in Sydney (2022), being a 2x champion of Bris Asia Allstyle battle competing against some of Australia's best like Jiggy-Jaya and Keanu, becoming Red Bull Dance Your Style Brisbane Champion, and placing Top 4 in the national finals. Last year in 2025 I made Top 8 in the Aus Finals for Redbull DYS. These days I have been judging a lot more around Brisbane and sometimes even getting flown out to different cities around Australia to judge and teach. You might’ve also seen me in Matt Corby’s music video on youtube "If I Never Say a Word", or performing with SJJ Creative in a tribute to Michael Jackson’s 'Dangerous', which now has over 3.5 million views on YouTube.
Since 2013, I’ve been proudly building and supporting the Queensland street dance scene, and I’m committed to giving back to the culture that shaped me.
Now, wherever you are, you can train with me. Let’s learn, grow, and dance smart—together.
